Massage Therapy is a treatment that manipulates the body’s soft tissues to alleviate soreness, pain, muscle spasms and stress. The therapist uses their hands and arms to hold, move and/or apply pressure to most of the body's soft tissues such as muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia and other connecting tissue. Massage therapy is very effective at helping to relieve chronic conditions associated with traumatic injury, overuse and stress and can include lower back pain, arthritis, bursitis, fatigue and more.

Treatment sessions can vary between 30-60 minutes depending on the condition treated. At our clinic, massage therapy is used primarily as an adjunct treatment with other therapies such as acupuncture or laser therapy.

The following conditions may be lessened or relieved by therapeutic massage therapy:
Arthritis | Asthma | Back pain | Carpal Tunnel Syndrome | Chronic and acute pain | Fibromyalgia | Gastrointestinal disorders | Headaches | Immune system disorders | Insomnia | Joint strains and sprains | Myofascial pain | Pregnancy associated problems | Repetitive strain injuries | Some circulatory problems | Sports injuries – Stress | Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) Dysfunction and other jaw problems.
